WHAT CAN WE DO TO SAVE THE CHILDREN?

War in Yemen is certainly one of the most horrendous Humans Right issue the world is currently facing. Over five million children are now facing starvation, some 85,000 children died because of extreme hunger since the war began, this is likely to be "the worst famine in the world in 100 years".

It is hard to listen to Thorning-Schmidt, CEO of Save the Children International, detailing the devastation she had witnessed: “Millions of children don’t know when or if their next meal will come. In one hospital I visited in north Yemen, the babies were too weak to cry, their bodies exhausted by hunger. This war risks killing an entire generation of Yemen’s children”.

I believe that every child should be protected from violence, exploitation and harmful practices. I believe that every child should have a fair chance in life and deserves a future.

It is crucial to support those organizations (like Save the Children Organisation or International Rescue Committee (IRC)) who are fully committed to end this appalling crime to Humanity. Whatever one can do, should be done.
