ABOUT ME

I have a Law Degree from Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon, a Master’s Degree in European Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium) and an MBA in IE Business School (Madrid). I am also a Certified Coach (Escuela Europea de Coaching, Madrid) and a Mentor for Start Up's.

After a short experience in the banking sector, I joined the Bp Group holding several business and corporate jobs around Europe, working in Brussels, Madrid and London. 

I returned to Portugal to join Galp Energia (Oil&Gas market leader) as a Board Member, being responsible for the Iberian Retail business, Strategic Marketing and HR, and later heading up the Group Natural Gas Sales as Galp Gas Natural Board Member.

 I was CEO of Galp Spain (2012 to 2017), Vice President of AOP (Spanish Oil Association) and Board Member of CLH (Compañia Logistica de Hidrocarburos) and of CORES (Compañia de Reservas Estrategicas). 

I teach “International Business”, “Corporate Social Responsibility” and "Globalisation" in Master’s Programs at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon. I have been appointed Executive in Residence in Católica-Lisbon School of Business & Economics.

I am a founding member of ONG (BUS – Distribution of Non-food Goods to less privileged people). 

I am 59 years old, married, with three children.
